The North Vista Parents' Club was founded by a group of like-minded parents from North Vista Secondary School (Singapore) with the aim to:

1. Promote work-life balance.
2. Share parenting tips and tricks.
3. Share ideas and news on parenting and healthy living.
4. Facilitate the recycling/loan of baby/child related items (includes 'hand me downs')

Eligibility:

Any staff who:
1. is a parent/grand parent
2. is preparing for parenthood
3. simply loves little people!

Dinosaur Exhibition@Science Centre!!!

It's holiday!!! Spotted this ad in "Today" (26/11/10) and also saw it in FB (Science Centre):

(1) Fun with Dinosaurs exhibition- hailed all the way from Japan! Come meet and greet “Stan”, the world’s second most complete Tyrannosaurus rex fossil. Open 27 Nov 2010 until 30 Jan 2011, catch these dinos before they disappear! ($2 per adult/child, does not include Science Centre admission)

(2) Robot Zoo exhibition (new!)Venue: Omni-TheatreDuration: 20 Nov- Mar 2011
Admission Price: S$1
Opening hours: 10am – 6pm everyday

Better than any picture book or documentary, visitors to the Science Centre will be given the chance to “interact” with zoo animal robots. With animal favourites such as the rhinoceros, giraffe, and the platypus, this collection of robots is fun, engaging and an excellent educational resource for children to increase their understanding of the unique qualities of animals. Come be intrigued and entertained!
